The Take Off has proven to be a hit among Starboard's riders in wing freestyle contests, with Dream Team participants employing the most recent, miniaturized Take Off models in many competitions.

The 2024 Take Off has been comprehensively reimagined to be a freestyle wing foil board for superior performance. An expanded size range of slightly longer but narrower designs encourages brisker take-offs and improved handling at speed. The streamlined profile sports a thin nose for speed and parity in the air and in the water, while the cutaway tail carves a narrow pin at the tip for diminished drag. Moreover, the bottom shape flaunts sharp rails with a flat midsection for tangible control and composure during lake landings, regardless of approach.

The Take Off range is tailored for intermediate to advanced riders, providing sizes ranging from 5'3" x 25.5" and up for wing and SUP foiling, and sizes from 5'0" x 24.5" to 4'0" x 18.5" for high-performance wing and foil surfing. Meanwhile, the 7'0" x 31" and 6'3" x 28" models offer the perfect fit for heavier riders wishing to reach extraordinary new heights in winging or SUP Foiling.

• New Narrower Thinner Nose - Performance-focused, more maneuverable in turns, and faster when flying.
• New Curved Rocker - The rocker is fine-tuned for stable flight while being very forgiving when touching down. The rocker is optimized for the best control over the foil without needing to shim your foil.
• New Recessed Standing Area - For the best possible connection, the standing area recess gives a direct connection to the foil. Smaller models are dug out even further for the best possible control.
• Flat Bottom - The smooth release with sharp rail edges and the flat bottom give instant takeoff and are more predictable when touching down.
• Cutaway Tail - The cutaway forms a pin tail for better release in takeoff and less resistance when touching down.
• New Brushed Deck Pad - The new brushed deck pad is less abrasive on the knees while offering comfort and grip. The Take Off also features a kick pad for wave surfing.
• New V Footstrap Set - Designed for the best comfort and performance in wingboarding, utilising the best Yulex neoprene construction in the industry to deliver a soft and secure footstrap. With a 60 degree angle, the new footstrap is designed to perfectly mould to the shape of your foot when inserted in our range of foil boards.Multiple footstrap screw holes are built into the reinforced yulex, giving riders the adjustability to angle the footstrap in their preferred riding position and angle.
